I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

So, that party last night?

Brothers' friends got me drinking. Today has been rough.

My mom and I had theater tickets, which was delightful, and sitting in the dark for two hours probably did me a lot of good, but then two friends her hers insisted we go for a drink with them, and they wouldn't let me not have one. It was basically torture. Yeesh.

At least I know I'll feel better tomorrow!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My XBF called to regale me with his latest stories of life in NYC. Then he asks what's going on with me, and I have nothing to tell him. Like, "um, there's a fox on my porch..." He asks out of politeness, but I'm sure he's bored. Because my life is boring. But still, I don't want to be in NYC.

Thrive to spite them

The guy I was dating back in 1993 or so was really into Magic. I played a little bit, but I made a deck and stuck with it (red/green I think) and he had all kinds of cards. I think he may have had a Lotus or some kind of super rare card. He kept it all protected and stuff and then he met a guy who was willing to trade a gaming system and games for the card.

I can't remember which gaming system but I know my xbf thought he was getting a deal.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

There's a FOX on your porch!?! That is pretty exciting!

I missed everyone. And then I fell asleep.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

He's gotten quite skinny this summer, poor thing; I suppose the heat and the dryness has made food scarce for him. So he pops up at night to partake of the cat food buffet. The outdoor cats ignore him.

Because books.

Switch attacked a fox almost twice his size two months ago. The fox made some ungodly noise and took off.

Does anyone remember the name of the website that sells fair trade/artisan jewelry and textiles and art, with proceeds going to charity and the overseas artisans? I'm drawing a complete blank, and I thought I had it bookmarked but not so much.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Orcish Settlers is pretty awesome.

TODDSON! Thank you SO MUCH for the coffee cup and the book! I had just been eyeing that book the last time I was in Powell's, but decided my budget wouldn't allow for it. Eeee!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I like Novica, but I don't believe any of the proceeds go to charity, just to the artisans.
