You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Oh! Does anyone happen to know what sort of makeup best covers bruises? I may have walked smack into the bike rack on the back of someone's car last weekend, and it still looks ridiculous, and I have to go out on public on Saturday. To the theater. Where I would really not have an entirely black nose. It doesn't really hurt anymore, but it looks pretty scary.

Whoa, they didn't have those a few weeks ago. Just as well, I'd never spend that much or ask my brother to (it was a bday gift.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I totally had use this weekend for "Fancy, guest...fancy guest...eleven!"

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I need to work "Chanandler Bong" into casual conversation this weekend.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I still have to figure out a way to figure distance in the lake. I am just way too erratic to know what I'm actually getting done.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I want to go to this wedding. Do you think they would let me be friends with them?

That is quite excellent. The wedding photos from my first wedding feature Bec and myself being set upon by a band of Viking raiders; nostalgia turns up in the oddest places.

Now tagless for your comfort.

zuisa, I've used Dermablend to cover scars before and it worked well.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Seconding the Dermablend rec, with Make-up Forever HD Finishing Powder over top.
