Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

It's sort of like the long-running, highly successful "Walk for Hunger" here. Uh, maybe walk against hunger??

Back in the day, when I was a professional peace activist, it disturbed me that people kept chanting, "Bring down the bombs!"

Um. I walked across America to KEEP THAT FROM HAPPENING, can't we find different words?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh ita, sorry it's been such an awful day.

ita and Anne-- what days you have had!

I just read that Amber Tamblyn and David Cross are getting married. I didn't know they were dating. I think it is sweet, but I kind of always picture David Cross as Tobias Funke, wearing those short denim shorts as a never-nude.

No fire, welcome home, good job and ita, bleah.

Trying to wear out the Loki with his favorite toy mouse. It's tailless, faded neon green from the sun, slightly squashed and all other toy mice pale in comparison. So weird.

I need to blog my ceiling hole. But it depresses me.

Right? And I can never forget that she's Russ Tamblyn's daughter. Aside from West Side Story and Twin Peaks, he was also a major artist figure in Wallace Berman's beat group associated with his magazine Semina.

My mother had a super duper major crush on Rush Tamblyn (from the WSS era, not the Twin Peaks Era. I believe he was also in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers), so I am always surprised that he is not more famous than he is! Weirdly, now that I think of it, he is the only white man that my mother ever spoke of having a crush on (she also likes Sidney Poitier and Harry Belefonte).

Yup! Plus my favorite 50s exploitation movie, High School Confidential. Which also has Drew Barrymore's dad as a poetry spouting beatnik. Recommended!

The hugest fly ever to exist is in my living room, and it won't stand still so I can kill it. I looked it up, and it may lay eggs in mucous membranes!!!!! I will never be able to sleep until I kill this mother f*cker!

I've been asked by 3 different people, 2 who see me daily, if I'm on a diet/lost weight in the past couple of days. The thing is, I haven't according to the scale. But maybe things are rearranging again. I notched in the new bras, but figured that was stretching. I would attribute it to the fact I haven't worn pants or long sleeves in over 2 months, except those 2 people who see me daily.

I don't mind, it's just odd. I guess when I start wearing my clothes from a few months ago, I'll find out. I'd like to lose some more, but not going to bust my ass or risk headaches to do any more than I do now. Which I think is quite acceptable: swimming 12+ miles a week at a decent pace plus my diet is pretty much golden. I feel damned strong, can bolt up 5 stories without getting winded, carrying 45lbs of litter up the stairs isn't onerous. I'm happy.
