I'm so proud of myself.
One reason why I'm not a nature program presenter - I would be too sorely tempted to add Benny Hill music once the video speeds up.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Ugh -- thanks, BT! Now I have Benny Hill earworm right before I go to bed.
Hec, that's a pretty fair assesment, although harsh on the earler seasons and gentle on the last. In summary: Methos!
In summary: Methos!
I concur.
Hookers and blow!
Yeah. That's really all I've got right now.
I mostly agree about Highlander with added:
Killing Tessa off was bogus, even if the actress wanted out.
Shirtless training sequences, YAY.
Some stand alone episodes were genius.
Guest stars were awesome...mostly.
In conclusion: Methos!
eta: The series finale was lame, but the soundtrack made me cry anyway.
I'm with ita and Cass. I have enormous affection for Highlander. I used to sneak downstairs to watch it at 2 or 3am when I was just a wee proto-fangirl. And Duncan and Methos set sail my first slash ship.
In summary: Methos!
And also: Amanda!
I never saw season 6, but I did see the season 5 finale, where Duncan kills Richie by accident. It's pretty gutting. And no surprise so many fans rejected that.
But it was fun, for what it was: pretty men and shiny swords, and beautiful women with shiny swords, and lots of costumes, and at least two sword fights per episode.
Yes, pretty much what everybody else said about H:tS. Aside from shirtless training scenes, one thing I really loved about first season was the relationship between MacLeod and Tessa. It was one of a handful--Wash and Zoe being another--of mature het relationships portrayed on tv. Also, confirmed member of Clan Denial here.
Also, Han shot first, Wash is still flying. My denial fu is strong.
The critters eat my crocuses (thank goodness I posted on facebook, since that was the only twenty-four hours they were up!) and grape hyacinth, even though they're not supposed to. But they don't eat any of my alliums, although I don't have those this year, FAIL, and last year I tried daffodils and irises, both of which grew to fruition. So more of those next fall. But right now, there's nothing. Which, okay, yes, snow.
