Hooray for nothing!

I am having a day. Our indoor cat got out last night and is nowhere to be found; it's the first day of classes and everything is crazy busy; I'm telling my boss that I'll be leaving as of Sept. 30, and I'm feeling guilty plus it's complicated. On the plus side, my coworker made s'mores cookies, and they are richness bombs.

I may try a bit more because I do like Hunter very much. But she's so very unlikable

True, except I still like her. It's crazy. I think I liked her because she was so unstoppable, and for her loyalty to her friends, especially wassname. Laura San Giacomo.

Maybe the "ethnic" shows are in Response to "Little Mosque on the Prairie", which I heard was pretty good. The rest of them sound awful. And I don't even think half those Jersey Shore kids are even Italian-American.

Is the rest of the country getting a top news story about Andrew Cuomo using the state airplane to go home from official events. It seems like a big fuss about nothing.

California law re: crosswalks has changed a few times over the years. Sometimes you were supposed to stop if a pedestrian was anywhere in the crosswalk, sometimes you could proceed if it was safe to do so (like if the pedestrian was a couple of lanes to your left, you could go ahead and make your right turn) but I'm pretty sure hitting a pedestrian has always been forbidden, even if they were jaywalking.
