The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Also, very persistent.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Maria, thanks for that tip about the Best Buy sale! Those are some great deals, especially with the gift cards involved. I can't find where it says the $100 gets you a $25 gift card, though.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

FUCKING HOLE IN THE CEILING.

Always disconcerting, even when it's purposeful. Last year my parents had water pouring out of the overhead light fixtures in the family room. At least your hole doesn't involve electricity. They actually taped over all the light switches until the electrician finally gave the all clear.

Perkins, of course the cat is persistent. You exist solely to provide prime slounging real estate. Cats take that shit seriously.

You are very welcome, P-C. I took advantage of it myself today. I will probably go back and pick up the first two seasons of Fringe.

edit: That may only be in-store and/or in certain markets. The signs were prominent in the DVD section.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

because there was one obstacle .

Perkins is most adorable. Truly.

I read at the end of last week - that we (n. IL) have had over 16" of rain this month.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, it's rainy here, too. I ran into my new boss in the lobby, so hung out with her while she waited for the HR person to come fetch her, so by the time I got to my desk, my coworkers were all, "What happened?!?!?" Because I always take the shuttle and am always here about 8:55. So that's nice, on both counts.

There's been a thunderstorm parked here for the past hour plus.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

It was supposed to be cloudy here today, but it is actually pretty sunny, even though I can't see any blue sky from my window.

Sigh. I'm all by myself at work today. I thought I'd be overlapping with a part-time coworker, but when I got in I found out she changed her hours. I hate being the only one in the office.
