I need someone to yell at me. Or just come clean my house.
Today I went shopping and really wanted to buy dresses with pockets--I was all dressed up for the three days of meetings, and seeing everyone else dressed up, and wanted to get fancier than my usual "black pants and a nice-ish shirt"...and it seems pockets are thing this year. Except NOT. Found lots of dresses I liked but no pockets! Sigh. And of course, ended up spending ALL THE MONEY. No, really. ALL THE MONEY. I mean, partly because I bought three pairs of shoes (two are matching sandals, but I kept saying if I found a pair I liked I"d buy them in black and brown. So, $100 there...). But still!
And I didn't buy any dresses with pockets!
Sledgehammers are awesome. That is all.
I haven't watched In Plain Sight since a few seasons ago, but just last night I watched the last two episodes on demand, and I enjoyed it!
I really liked this season a lot.
I read somewhere it's getting cancelled. Am I thinking of the right show?
Not sure why I never got into it. I think her family bothered me too much.
I never got into it because I was tired of the "flawed heroine" crap. In this particular case, it was all of the drama with her car that kept breaking down. Which is pure fiction, because most of the US Marshals I know (which is a few) have a government issued vehicle. She would not have been driving her personal car, which means that they just invented it to give her some issues. That irritated me.
IPS - the last season will be next year. Which I think is appropriate. Inconsistent characterization is driving me nutbar.
I need to I'm with any of you people with online dating experience.

Yeah, in that vein, I tried "Saving Grace" recently. I like Holly Hunter a lot, but I just couldn't get past what a gigantic fuck-up the character is. Does it get better? It's like she's the female Denis Leary in "Rescue Me".
