Went on a work outing today. Out to the beach. I have to go--I was kinda a no show with the previous boss, so might as well not tar myself with the new guy. But I was fully dressed, sitting crosslegged on my yoga mat as some more enthusiastic co-workers played volleyball. I'd explained I was too vicious to be fun.
Then they had an egg toss. OMG, horror. I decided to make a big show of it, so people would remember ita ! had been at the outing (and then I could run off home and leave them to their endless v-ball). But we did pretty well. We didn't go out until the last third, and it was my partner that broke the egg, not me. Although I got really good at not catching the egg and having it not break.
I hate fighting with my family. It's always so petty and yet it upsets me so much.

One shop rag tossed carelessly and I've 3 shopvacs of water off my basement floor. Because I just HAD to wash the loveseat cushion covers before I put on slipcovers.
Oh no, sarameg! I hate when I do that sort of stuff.. hey why don't I... never ends well for me. At least the cushion covers are clean?
