I know, right?!?!?! We went to the pet store a couple of weekends ago and saw some up for adoption. So hard to walk away without filling out an application.

Crappy day for me today, tho. Got laid off... now I gotta try and find a new job ASAP in this crappy economy when no one wants to hire admins... sucks!

I totally hear yu on the admin thing. At my university the trend seems to be hiring someone at the Secretary III level (which is possibly $10/hr-- it was $7 when I was a sec III 10 years ago) to do the higher level admin tasks. And those are being taken by recent graduates.
