Man, you just get darker and darker, and the weird thing is, your aura? Beige.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Amy!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I confess, I'm not a fan of Ke$ha's work, but I found that video hilarious.

I was never a fan of James VanderBeek, but all of the sudden I love him. Because he is hilarious. Especially with that James VanderMeme thing.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Amy!!

Because books.

I never watched Dawson's Creek, so I don't really get the VanderBeek love, but at least he's willing to goof on himself?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hee. "I don't appreciate you Slanderbeeking my name, Ke-dollar-sign-... Ha."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, that even made me like Ke$ha more.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would suggest Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream but it's only sold in Oakland, San Jose and a couple of places in San Francisco.

I know at least one place in Chicago that carries it, so you may be able to find it in LA.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I never watched Dawson's Creek, so I don't really get the VanderBeek love

Well, I think you need to have watched it to appreciate the reversal, not to get the love. Very few cool people came out of Dawson's Creek liking him. The cool thing to do was to like Joshua Jackson. But beginning with his appearance on Criminal Minds, going through his asshole appearance on that doctor show with Michelle Trachtenberg up through the Van Der Meme, he's done excellent reputation rehab.

I think I will be working from home today. Ow. Oy. And Ow.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, Amy!

I just finished a phone meeting with my manager. My entire job description is being rewritten. Instead of writing and editing web content I'll be learning PHP, MySQL, and more CSS so I can control the website itself more effectively. Basically, they'll be shifting me from a web editor position to a webmaster position.

I'm pretty psyched about this, as it'll expand my skill set tremendously. I like the tech-ier stuff, and they'll be paying me to take courses in stuff I like. If something happens to my organization, or if I decide I just want to try something new, it should help me in future job hunts.
