DJ, I think it's good you have both virtual and real shoulders to cry on, and I have definitely found Irish punk to be quite comforting myself.

I was quite happy to have both Netflix and a local Hollywood Video that I could browse at. The latter had well-stocked foreign movies and cult movies sections, and I could impulse-rent based on my mood of the moment instead of trying to predict what I'd feel like watching several days in advance. Help me, hivemind! I need to write a description for a panel I'm hosting at a local convention. It's the usual sort of Gothic Charm School Q&A thing, and the con is an anime/Japanese pop culture sort of thing. Lots of Gothic Lolitas and alterna-kids attend.
I have NO idea what to write for a panel description. Help?

I also tried Breyers...no Dryers. It was not good.
re: the billboard... I do think the play on Rat/Her in rather is kinda clever.
I'm reading the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and LOVING it.
