Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

In other news, where do you get tupperware, not actual tupperware, just food storage containers? Target, right? Anywhere else? I want a good set.

Bed Bath & Beyond has some. The Container Store would have a lot.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Container Store is a good pick.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Costco is usually good for that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good ones! Thanks, y'all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I get mine from the supermarket, Jesse. Ziplock brand.

Sometimes I guess it's nice that nobody outside the industry knows who or what my company does

Yeah, my company's like that. I used to be part of a big recognisable name brand, but our bit got sold. Not that we had much to do with the bits people recognised anyway.

Still, I used to work for Countrywide. I don't know if that will ever not get a look in SoCal. I apologise for the financial meltdown all the time.

It's foaming outside.
um??? Huh.

So there is a water runoff drain for campus that exits outside my window. When it rains, it becomes a waterfall. I call it the office water feature. Anyway, some whole helluva lot of something soapy was in the runoff and it was all foamy. And with the winds blowing up the side of the falls, great clouds of foam were blowing around. It was surreal.

Yeah, that's what I use, but I want to get my mother a set for a present, so nicer than that, and I think the ones where the lids stick to the bases is going to be the way to go. AND both Target and BBB have them, and both of them are in the same complex! So it all works out.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Costco often has nice sets of tupperwareish containers.

It's not even evil.

It's not like you work for Ticketmaster, after all. It was a brilliant business model until it wasn't.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Then they were slow to integrate their services and market effectively

Also, I get to go to an intimate bday gathering for a dude who up until recently treated me with utter disdain. Yay...

I am finding the Irish punk on the jukebox oddly comforting.
