That sounds like something I would do. I'd think, "I shouldn't do this; I'll probably cut some hair off." And then I'd do it anyway.

We have the American Sign Museum around the corner, IIRC.
I noticed an Underground Railroad Museum right near downtown that looked intriguing, but I didn't have time to get there (or anywhere).
