Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

not your mom's socks.

See, I didn't read those, because I'm a wuss. I hesitated for a couple hours before posting the link too. See? wuss.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Not surprisingly, the blog post on the Colonial African wedding RACEFAIL Extravaganza has been BA-LEETED!

They pay me in WOIMS

Strunk/White

Strunk fell back, exhausted onto the great number of dead leaves that were lying on the ground.

"That was incredible," he sighed - his voice passive. "I - I can't describe…"

White smiled, and kissed him again. "It's alright, my darling," he said. "After all - you always said we should omit needless words."

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Strunk and White would never have a relationship that was that badly punctuated, not to mention the perversion of "alright."

Because books.

I was trying to decide if the punctuation was the clue it was really bad!fic.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've seen many bricks, and none of them were pink. That tobacco color looks like bile on my monitor. I bet they wouldn't sell many bile-colored capris. I would, and do, wear red with black. I would not wear red with pink or orange unless I were dressing up as a 60s go-go girl. In summary, Trinny and Susannah can collectively kiss my pale white black-clad butt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it all depends on the red, really. LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I used to wear a lot of red, usually with black. It's a good, strong, contrast. Trinny and Susannah ... well, to each her own.

What color is the embroidery, ita? Or is the whole skirt brick red?

I admit, I am wearing brick red shorts. In days past I have worn them with a rust orange shirt. Today I am wearing them with a shirt that is patterned in flowers of faded red, brick, and blue, on a tan background.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What color is the embroidery, ita?

The embroidery is the same brick red, just shinier.

I am dressed the same colour as my car, for those who have seen it. It's a pretty close match.

I agree with Trinny and Susannah more than most fashion people about shape, but NSM about colour. But I am severely limited in the colour realm. I lack imagination when it comes to colour mixing, unless it's pre-done for me in a pattern. At which point I will wear some pretty strong stuff without a bit of concern.

Wait--do T&S think I shouldn't be wearing miniskirts at 42? Because they can bite my middle-aged ass, if they do.

I have purchased my Captain America T-shirt for the movie. I hope Polgara will still go with me, even if I am Dorkus Comicus Maximus. It's my first Marvel logo tee. And I've never bought a Captain America comic. Just...Wolverine and Storm don't have logos, you know?

I think it all depends on the red, really. LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE.

With attitudes like yours, it's amazing that anyone gets voted into office. Get radical, man!

As for Strunk/White--I am such a delicate flower that I can't even read obviously parodic RPF. I'm beginning to think something is wrong with me, the speed with which I backclicked away from that excerpt. IT'S JUST SHITS AND GIGGLES, ita.
