I think it's a bad sign that I can't remember where I had my last gimlet. But they did ask if I wanted real limes or Rose's, and then simple syrup with my real limes.
I'm wearing a brick red skirt today. It's a dropped waist skirt with box pleats (front panel 6" wide, other pleats 1 1/2"). Length is to the knee, and there's same-colour embroidery of 2 rows of 2" simple flowers bordering the hem, with cutouts on the lower row of flowers. Right now I'm wearing it with a black turtleneck. I wear it with black tops with no pattern or visible weave. I'd also wear it with white or off white--I just don't have much. What else can I wear it with? I'm predictably stumped.
Something with a pattern that's the same color as the skirt? Possibly a green shirt (pale, I'm thinking) with something small and brick red on it.
Pretty sure my last gimlet was in LA this spring. Need to get on that.

Today sucks balls. Lots of little things nibbling at me and it probably is the wrong day for me to try to quit the Percoset.
My last gimlet was last summer. And now I know what I'll be drinking after work tonight.
take a percoset, or at least half.
"We'll seal the tile and it will be done" has turned into "Oh, we're caulking some stuff, and then TOMORROW for sure we'll come back AGAIN and that will TOTALLY be it."
That sounds about right, Dana. My parents had some work done last week, and they thought it would be happening Tues-Weds. Yeah, when I got there at 5pm on Sunday, the guy was just finally leaving for the last time.
On drinks, I'm sort of on a rum kick, so I think daiquiris are my summer jam.
