And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This picture freaks me out: [link]

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I've never had a disposal, and don't really understand the purpose of one.

Oh no Ouise! I'm betting the thief won't bother with any information, but will try to sell the laptop quickly.

I've never had a disposal either. I've only been in a handful of home that have had one.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Most of the apartments I have lived in here have not had garbage disposals, but I grew up with so I miss it.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

tommy - lots of red and orange headed your way.

My apartment power went out at 7:55, while I was in mid-cross-stitch. I was going to go dye my hair at 8:00, so that didn't happen! I finally left for work at 9:10, and the power was still out. However, the traffic lights were working not two miles east, and we have power here at work. It feels like the a/c is back up, at least--it's on a separate generator/power setup than the majority of the building, as is the cafeteria, and that was still out when I came in at 9:30. So, I don't know if we'll have lunch here or not. If not, I'll probably head over to the grocery store for some deli chicken salad.

It's funny, this apartment doesn't have a disposal, which is a little weird. We've adjusted to it, but it was a bit of a trial at first.

You know, I happily live without a microwave but that disposer is integral to my sense of cleanliness. If I lived somewhere with a compost pile, I would adjust, I'm sure. I'm just glad I don't have to!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, baby! I love how much she looks like you guys, Jess.

I've never had a disposal, and don't really understand the purpose of one.

Basically so you don't have food waste in your trash, supposedly. I have one for the first time now, and I like it a lot!

Really? People have never had a disposer? That's amazing.

Due to the vermin issues in DC, it is required that every residence has one.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What I heard in NYC was that the density is too great for the pipes to handle them.

And I'm pretty sure I never had one in DC, although I could be misremembering.
