Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Because books.

I can't hula hoop anymore. My hips just don't seem to work that way. (My)Sara loves hers, though. (No clue how our sara feels about it.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Amy, have you tried a big adult hoop? Much, much easier than the kid ones. The bigger and heavier, the easier, generally.

msbelle, that could be a cool thing for Mac to get into. Active, creative, etc.

Hey, hivemind, is there a standard for formatting numbers in a document? Something like, under 100 you spell it out; over, you use digits? It's for my resume.

Because books.

AP style is any number over 10 gets a numeral, but Chicago style (for longer books) is any word UNDER 100 is spelled out.

For a resume I'm not sure, but just make it consistent.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

What are the numbers? Something like "Supervised fifteen people"? I'd probably spell it out, to look more professional, but I agree that it's most important that it be consistent.

I think I'll go with under 100, spell it out. Thanks!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My old coworker got one of those "health" hula hoops one time (it's weighted, I guess), and I tried it out for a second, and loved it. I should get one. Too bad I left NYC, because I probably could have gotten her to give it to me after she realized she never uses it....

The status is NOT quo.

Java, you should totally get one. My friend C. uses one, and they are awesome. Great exercise, too!

ETA: Thanks so much for the swimming info, Kathy. I have to admit that in addition to the big "pool is broken" sign, I was a bit intimidated by the swimming itself. It's just a two-lane lap pool, and I have no idea how to share lanes. I did finally buy goggles, at least.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I finally called my doc to have her check out my shoulder. It has been bothering me on and off for at least 2 months with the painful times becoming increasingly more unbearable. I see her Friday. Watch, by then the current flare up will have subsided.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
