Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why not? I mean, no reason not to from my end...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Well, the terms say I own it in perpetuity and all mineminemine, and I don't. But I shared it here. I'll submit and you can decide.

Oh, the tumblr terms? Dude, tumblr is built on sharing other people's stuff.

Oh, but I am going to delete your submission and post the picture directly, just FYI.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh. We have to change our voicemails every day. I am so not going to be able to keep this up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The other day a coworker let me know that I had never changed my voicemail back from when I was out of the office in May. Oops.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ugh. We have to change our voicemails every day. I am so not going to be able to keep this up.

Seriously? "Today is Friday, July 1, and I can't take your call." "Today is Tuesday, July 5, and I can't take your call." How is that useful?

"It's Wednesday, and I am in the office today." Actually, could you just do a bunch like that and only make a custom one when needed?

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I don't even update my vm to let people know when it's my regular day off. Or my email, for that matter.

Frankly, there just aren't that many emergencies in what I do: 99% of the time, it can wait until I'm back in the office.
