And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The pilot for The New Girl was WAY funnier than I expected it to be. If you hate Zooey Deschanel you will hate it, but as far as overidentifying with the main character...yeah, nerdy socially awkward girl named Jess who randomly quotes LotR and sings to herself all the time? I'm pretty sure I get to call dibs on that one.

In Post-production, there is no dress code

This is why I can never leave my job.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

oe shoes would rock the very foundations and then they'd explicitly write them out in the employee manual.

awesome!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

There's a bit of a status thing around how distant and obscure the village is where you got your latest earrings, though.

Snerk. I could score you some cool ones from an African American dance studio in the Lower Ninth Ward, but I'm guessing that wouldn't even be a top contender.

That's kind of awesome. Oh, humanity: we are all about the status, however we can.

Compassionately intolerant

Since I work in my house the dress code is well, whatever.

On days when I see clients, though, I strive for a dress/skirt and jewelry.

I don't normally take appointments on Mondays but this week, I made an exception which I promptly forgot about.

The couple were mostly up the stairs before Bartleby let me know they were here. I just thank GOD that I was actually, you know, clothed. That isn't a guarantee on some days.

The couple were great about it...No, no, don't put on shoes on OUR account...and promptly dropped theirs.

It was a great session, actually.

Nice to know that no matter what I wear, my mind still works!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you hate Zooey Deschanel you will hate it

Yeah, I pretty much figured. She clogs up my pipes. She icks me out.

awesome!

But you wouldn't be as cool as I am, because I got written out first.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love Zooey. She's a local gal too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I really want to try the toed shoes. I am barefoot much of the time these days, but that's a problem when I have rocks and thorns and hot pavement to walk on and putting on regular shoes when my feet aren't used to them can be downright painful, so I default to crocs and flip flops, but they don't offer much protection.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am wearing flip flops right now AIFG. I think my feet would sweat too much in the hobbit shoes. I tend to go straight from sandals/flip flops to boots.

Sounds like a fun event, Hec! Very cool.

I like Zoey D. better than Katy Perry, but Anna Friel better than both of them.

Zooey D. bugs me but there are not a lot of nerdy girls on TV so I may give that show a watch.
