Punishingly Intricate

In other words, if you decide want to do it, something like a class is purely a box to be checked off, not something to stress about.

And may actually provide you with good information as you head into the homebuying process. Do you need to settle w/in a certain amount of time of doing the class/getting the money? I got a grant from the city that had a time limit attached but, like you may be doing, I had a house picked out and was in the process of getting a contract on it, when I applied for the grant. I don't think that was the normal way the grant went but it worked out fine. And allowed me to buy my place even though I didn't have a lot of money available for a down payment.

Oh! Jesse! I thought of you this morning when I heard Whitey Bulger was finally captured! crazy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am excited that people thought of me WRT Whitey. His brother was my first favorite politician! After he spent a good while talking to me at an event when I was like 12 or something.

I just got an email about a Cornhole event. I swear to god, we don't have that here.

I seem to remember reading that it's the new big thing with hipsters in, I think it was, the Phoenix.

Because books.

I had never heard of Whitey Bulger before yesterday. I'm not up on my Irish crime lords, I guess.

It's so humid outside it's like being trapped under an overturned wet bowl. Blech.

Whitey Bulger was finally captured

Oh, they got him? Was that because of the FBI's appeal on the View to look for his girlfriend, or something else?

It's impossible to overstate what a big deal he was here, back in the day. Not only was he a huge crime lord, but his brother was the state Senate president for yonks.

Or locals who've adopted it "ironically". See also, PBRs.

Because books.

That sounds like an epic drama for the big screen, Jesse! "Imagine a world where two brothers rise to power ..."

I can attest to this. "Where's Whitey?" has been a huge local pastime since he went into hiding.

Also, he was the basis for some of the background details about the Jack Nicholson character in The Departed.
