I love that NYTimes weekly feature that shows what $X will buy you housing wise in 3 different markets. Fascinating!
Me too! And sadly, I was thinking "oh that's not a bad price!" when I saw the listing for java's neighbor! Though mostly because I know how cute her house is and how nice the deck and backyard are!!
I'm excited for Java to own that Meyer lemon tree.
We should have an annual Meyer Lemon Curd concocting day.

YES.
Also, my neighbor just mentioned that he has a gigantic olive tree dropping thousands of olives and do I want any?
And then what do I do with them? I am used to them coming in bottles and being dropped into cocktails!!
Don't they have to be treated to be edible? I vaguely remember a whole Alton Brown episode on that.
Yes, they have to be brined.
We rented a villa in Tuscany that had some olive trees, and Barkley tried to eat one: it was not a success.
Talked to another former coworker today. Dude I linked to, what was convicted of felony fraud? Keeping his job. Plus, FCW can't discipline/fire any of the trainees because they want a good graduation rate.
Have I mentioned, Best Layoff Ever?
I think the easiest thing to do with olives is press them into oil, but I don't know how easy that actually is. I know my grandparents never bothered collecting the olives off their tree considering it too much trouble.
Meyer Lemon Curd sounds delightful.
I just busted open my lip with my laptop (moving it from the front seat to the back). Shit, that hurt.
