Thanks! Feel free to linkspam it, Consuela, but don't tie it back to my LJ. Being so many people is confusing.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
My church's VBS starts this coming Sunday evening. I am Director, so this is my crunch week. I am creating volunteer spreadsheets and emailing people like mad. I have yet to meet one-on-one with the team leaders of 5 sections to make sure they have everything they need.
Do you ever replay something over and over in your head so much you start to think that it must just be in your head and couldn't have actually happened? And you have to remind yourself that, in fact, it did? Did that make any sense?
My head is a weird place to live.
Nice post, ita.

Yeah, once in a while.
Sometimes, a person expresses that they're attracted to me, and later I start to doubt it happened.

I understand completely.
I'm eating mac & cheese in the park with Trudy, Hil and DebetEsse.
Tom Scola is braggy, pass it on.
Tom's cola is bad heat, pass it on!
(jealous!)
Mmmm, mac&cheese. NOM.

Working this VBS, like always, makes me appreciate how much work gets put in by the directors and other volunteers. It is a ton of work. I could not do it. This one is fun because I've done it before, but it's still a lot of work just for me, and I usually have the SO with me. I had 200 kids in 5 20-minute sessions today. And I'm revamping my materials for tomorrow because way more of them remembered me than I was counting on.
It took me only about 70 minutes to get home from it, but it took me nearly two hours to get there. Rush hour, construction, and a massive thunderstorm made the difference, I guess. I hope I'm only dealing with two out of three of those tomorrow. Two hours is too long.
How long is everybody's commute? How long is a normal commute? I mean, I drive two hours, but that's only twice a week, and it's to a completely different town. And anyway, that's completely stress-free driving, usually, with a beautiful backdrop. This was bumper to bumper at 50 mph (in a 70) in a borrowed car. So. Stressful.
