Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well the fact that I can't reliably answer the question "When was your last period" due to the whole infertility thing doesn't help. But still.

This seems like a time when lying about it would be fine.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Dylan!

Our wings are not tired.

This seems like a time when lying about it would be fine.

Agreed.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'll wear one of those cool stripey French navy shirts

Make it French Pirate and I am *there*. Except for how I think I finally got over my half-assed desire to cut my hair off.

re: my gift

It doesn't have to be work-related--unless it was one of the landscape people who got the expensive week whacker or the patio fireplace--but I can't make up the money.

I'm kind of sorry I've already got the X-Files boxed set, because that would be perfect. I've either got all the CDs of shows that I want or I don't want the boxed sets of the ones I don't.

I'm rather horrified at how greedy I am, that I don't want to get the CD/DVD RWer because it would "waste" half the money.

hip deep in pie

I love my bus commute. I mean, okay, I'd rather walk (in good weather), because sometimes the bus makes me carsick and sometimes the high school kids get too loud. But as commutes, it's not bad: only half an hour, and I can listen to my audiobook or podcasts and just zone out. I'm worried that when we move our office it will be to a place not near a good bus line for me.

Consuela's commute is very much like mine, down to the occasionally loud students and bus sickness. I do have a bus stop friend who sometimes sits with me on the bus. I'd much rather zone out.

Reminder to self. Do. Not. Drink. Bubbles. Bubbles make your tummy unhappy. It doesn't matter that it is THE PERFECT DAY for a root beer float and that free root beer floats were available.

I know I am sometimes very literal minded, but until I got to the root beer part, I was thinking you were talking about soap bubbles.

I had a cleaning and dental checkup today. They had a tricky filing before my appt., so they were running about 15-20 minutes late. My Dentist gave me a Starbucks card for my time. Very thoughtful. If my doctor did that I'd never pay for coffee again.

Despite him being an awesome guy, he still wants to replace two fillings. God, I hate the drill.

After my appointment, I took out my pent-up dental anxiety and PMS by eating too much. I am now too full.

Happy Birthday Dylan!!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

God, I fucking earwormed myself. What was I thinking?

You got me, too, but at least I like that song.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I did read stuff, I promise, but I got stuck on this

Happy Bourbon day!!!

DUDE! SWEET! My plans for the evening have been validated!

This is so crazy, but I love my commute!

I love mine in the morning, now that morning = 6:30 for me. I get to go really fast!

msbelle! Don't cry! Carry on, my wayward daughter!

Yes, this. For everyone who needs it too.

This seems like a time when lying about it would be fine.
Lie, Lie like the Wind, Pix!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, someone remind me that I really couldn't have gone out three nights in a row this week. I was supposed to have a date tonight, but I pushed it off to tomorrow. But then someone just offered me a free ticket to West Side Story for tomorrow, which now I can't take! And Thursday is Company at the movies....
