When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I need to get my haircut and I have been debating whether to go serious and professional or fun, and that story is tipping the scales towards fun. Also, I am tempted to live breezily on red wine and baguettes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that I get to shave off most of my hair and not pause to think about whether it's professional or not.

Boss, you don't get to snap at me for not having done something since the last time we spoke if you're the reason I didn't work yesterday. I tried. You told me not to. Also, there is totally a space where I can't drive but I can work.

I guess today's shirt is too tight, because whenever I inhaled deeply was the only time my boss broke eye contact.

I just saw my first "It's okay to be Takei" shirt in the wild. I had to give her the thumbs up. Maybe I need one of those myself.

Went to the British store on the way home from the doctor's this morning. I have Cadbury's Lady's Fingers and proper Kit Kats. How unhealthy.

With, you know, decent chocolate. They are a bar with such promise.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How do you all pronounce "rigmarole"? I have been saying it like "RIg-a-Ma-roll," with an tiny added short "a" after the first syllable.

I love my short hair. I had such bad hair for so many years, and now it's short and so long as I keep it properly cut, it looks much better. Also, I don't have to do much with it other than put some product in it once in a while. I haven't used a comb or brush in five years.
