Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

I need to do some travelling. I have serious wanderlust. I just need some money and maybe a travelling companion.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Just got the invitation for our friends' son's bar mitzvah. Alas, it is on one of the weekends in August that we'll be away. Bummer.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, my workday ended with a ridiculous clusterfuck of trying to get people out of this (TINY!) conference. And then suddenly I remebered a crisis I should have been dealing with, but when I got home and went to email my VP, I double-checked, and think it may not actually be a crisis after all. But I have to be at work early again tomorrow, and am anticipating another clusterfuck at the end of the day. Awesome.

My boudin went 'splodey.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

What's a boudin?

(Also? smonster in NOLA, WHoo!)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So not only did the Gay Girl in Damascus turn out to be an American guy, so did "Paula Brooks", the editor of LezGetReal.com, who was apparently a 58-year-old male former Air Force member.

Seriously? WTF, even.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's fortunate I've met so many of you in person or I'd begin to suspect all the women here were 58 y.o. former Air Force members.
