Jesse, that sounds incredible. So heartening to read about a pastor standing up and forcefully insisting on making a loving, welcoming place for everyone.
Right?? It made me feel better about the weeks of walking in the street that they have subjected me to...
I am more than slightly bouncy today about news from my own parish, which is that we've been invited to join another deeply pro-QUILTBAG parish in marching in SF's Pride Parade.
Yay!!
Jesse, adding 200 parishoners is pretty big, I'd imagine.
I do not want today. Or tomorrow. Or friday.
That's great, JZ.
Groupon today is for Cafe Press, if anyone's been meaning to pick up some swag of some sort: [link]
I'm so happy with my church (yes, it likes carrots) - they're having same sex wedding services (I met one of the happy grooms yesterday) and the bishop was in the pride parade (an annual occurrence).
Still fucked up from lack of efficacy yesterday at the ER and my boss won't let me work from home. Don't have meds yet, so it's moot because work wouldn't start well until then. I have just rescheduled a bunch of important meetings off until Friday that I hope he's okay with. I'd have preferred some of me on them today than all of me on them days from now.
Emma Watson from Vogue.
Well, looks like it'll be regular insurance for me - the courts blocked the move to allow any contracts to be made with the new OAPs so if I want to stick with my current doctors I can't have an HMO.
Yeah, I wouldn't get a puppy - an adult dog all the way. I am thinking I might call them today.
Ugh, ita. Good luck with the week....
Emma Watson is unrecognizable in that makeup.
Oo, I want Emma Watson's lipstick! Hey make-up saavy buffistas, any idea how to get that look?
Speaking of looks, Franny and her classmates are putting on a fashion show as part of today's school talent show. They designed the clothes and everything. Adorable and yet? As a mother I have qualms about seeing my girl dressed like a glammed up model.
