Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

It's very odd finding yourself in complete stranger's pictures on flickr. (No, not linking, nothing remarkable, plus pool hair.)

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Do I go to Michigan next weekend for Father's Day, even though my CSA starts that weekend including my first fruit box (of only 10), and I'll be in San Francisco that following Tuesday until Saturday?

Technically I guess I could pick up my CSA at 10am on Saturday and then take a cab to Union Station for a 12:16pm train...

Why are decisions so hard?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Book of Mormon needs to stop winning things, so that the lottery doesn't get overloaded.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Puppy!

You should totally mention to the Flag House people! They would be happy to hear it. I love your neighbors!

There`s a house in our neighborhood that does a wonderful job with their landscaping, all home done, you can tell by the aesthetic. But just lovely. One day I was walking the dog past and she was out watering. So I stopped to tell her how much I enjoyed it (it`s on a corner I drive past every day) and she was so happy to hear it. "I didn`t think anybody noticed!" It`s worth spreading a little appreciation around.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Now tagless for your comfort.

You know what's really hilarious? Owen finding bible stories in Lego on YouTube and now he's asking me about bible stories. I'm going to have to break down and find an unoffensive children's book of bible stories so I can help communicate this stuff a little easier.

Don't think I don't see the irony.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

May I suggest Biblical Literacy by Timothy Beal? Not so much a children's book, though.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ion, I just watched the first ep of Sherlock, goodness that's going to be fun.

Ha! That's what I just started playing to test Netflix. Which was working for me. And I really considered letting the show keep playing. Because it's Sherlock and made of win.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I saw it in the UU Bookstore catalogue a few weeks ago and though, "that sounds useful".

Ah, Sherlock. t sigh
