Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why wouldn't a cold salad be appropriate in summer, Jesse?

It's 60 and rainy.

The original plan was a Thai-ish chicken pasta salad, which can be served warm, but I'd need to make it there. I think I'll just do a red sauce or something for pasta.

Because books.

Excellent news, Typo!

It's weird here -- it cooled off, but not completely, and it's still humid, so it's semi-warm and vaguely damp.

information libertarian

We've got a thunderstorm, and the largest hail I've ever seen - not huge, just skittle to dime-sized. But it's still really weird to have ice falling from the sky.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's 60 and rainy.

Oh.

Though that's kinda summer here.

But, yeah, I can see wanting something not a cold salad. And while warm Thai-ish chicken pasta salad sounds delicious, red sauce sounds much easier.

Hail is scary. The weirdest thing I ever saw was corn snow, though, in Wyoming. It actually looked like styrofoam packing pellets.

It's mostly my grandmother -- I was already feeling sketchy about showing up with one thing! (We believe dinner is three things....) So I put the thawed chicken into some half-assed red sauce, and will do something salady with the cabbage and cucumber I bought.

Dinner tonight is going to be berries and wine. Because at 3:30, I went to the grilled cheese truck. Tummy full.

A thunderstorm just rolled through here, too. Flea and I may be sharing a cold front.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I wish there was a grilled cheese truck near me.

I want sushi for dinner, but that's what I had for lunch, so I think maybe TJs spanikopita instead.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Really, my life is not complete without a grilled cheese truck. It's not fair.
