Big congrats to tommyrot's 'rents!!
My weekend plans involve starting and finishing a 5-page paper this afternoon/early evening, and then reading several articles and two chapters of my textbook before getting a few hours sleep, and then, if I get up in time, going for an early-morning swim at 6:00 am before heading down to class. Tomorrow evening and Sunday will involve working on the group project (including the paper that I have to write for my part of it) due Wednesday, and then doing some cooking and cleaning.
Oh, and sometime this afternoon, I have to line up a site visit for next week to get that write-up done for next Saturday's class. I swear, this teacher is going to break me.
My weekend plans are to laze around with DH, who returns from Ireland tonight, woo!
Also, I guess we actually have a fairly busy Sunday: breakfast with some friends, then a dinner thing for my choir, then my book club (that last one is just me).

So what are people doing this weekend?
Meeting some out-of-town friends at Redbones tomorrow night. Other than that, blessedly nothing specific yet.
Maybe going to Greek Festival tonight. Farmer's Market in morning. Not much planned aside from that. Woot!
I'll be going to a Restaurant Week special with amyth and a few other friends tonight. And I'm thinking of catching a movie this weekend. Beyond that, just reading, maybe gardening a little. I've reached the lovely gardening stage where everything thing I plan to plant this year is in, and the things that unexpectedly died have been replaced. So now it's just watering and a little weeding until fall.
I just dropped Emmett and his mom off at the airport. So if you see somebody that looks like Emmett but is obviously much too tall to be him in Boston this weekend, or Brooklyn next week - that would be him.
Also, I got him a new iPhone and had his catcher's mitt completely restrung.
For the weekend - I have to finish an Encyclopedia entry on Bubblegum that's way overdue.
Matilda has a birthday party to attend, and JZ has Church Drama.
argh I just had to report someone for sending something sensitive through email. I know it's the right thing to do, and it's not like the person will be fired or anything, but I still feel somewhat guilty. But Security JUST sent a message about this to us last week! Pay attention, people!!!
