I'll say this for getting to work at 6:45am, it gives me plenty of time to watch Stewart/Colbert before I have to start looking busy.

(Normally my start time in the summer is 7am, but today I took an early train with my mom who came up yesterday as a pinch-hit babysitter.)

Gah! A co-worker and I were nearly in a 3 car pile-up with a driver who had stopped her car on the highway for no apparent reason just after topping a rise that blocked her from view.

It's kind of hot in Chicago today

I finally turned on the a/c when I got home last night, as well as the pedestal fan in the living room to move that cold air around. When I left this morning, the a/c stayed on but the pedestal fan got turned off, since the ceiling fan in the dining room has been running continuously for a week now.

I can't believe I actually had the heat on only a month ago!
