Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They're all songs that have been on the show before. Edit: is what I thought I heard.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, tomorrow is All Fool's Day. I hate April 1st. I just realised it as I read a news report that I can't trust my eyes for the next 24ish hours. I have no sense of humour on the topic.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Me neither! Of course I spent all day today thinking today was April Fools, because I said the rhyme in my head, "Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November, all the rest have thirty-one, save February, which somehow makes this mnemonic lose all sense of rhythm, and furthermore, I wasn't really going to forget February, now was I?"

Only it didn't work in my head, because I thought this was April. How that was going to work with tomorrow being the first day of April, I don't know. It's not been a particularly good day for me and brainpower, I'll just say that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I quite look forward to April Fool's Day for ThinkGeek's !NEW product.

I was just thinking this!

Also, I'm really hoping that tomorrow's forecast for SNOW is Accuweather's idea of a sick joke.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Today it was 95 degrees, which sort of feels like God's April Fool's joke a day early. Misery.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're having an April Fool's eve snowstorm.

Kat, if you are still watching GA, you may not want to. Preemie stuff.

I'd kill for anything above 50. We might get snow tonight. Feh.

My heat just kicked in. I think I need to de-air it, noisier than usual.

sara, will it make me ragey, like they got it wrong? I guess I'm over some of my preemie drama. I don't even really volunteer in the NICU anymore.
