I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just discovered that the sound my phone makes when I get or send a text freaks Dita out. Too many of them and she runs under the bed.

The status is NOT quo.

You realize this makes me want to text, "Hi Dita!" to you now, right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I loved Donny and Marie, Sonny and Cher AND Captain and Tennille.

I had Captain and Tennille dolls. They came with 2 cardboard cutout bulldogs.

I still have the first TV that was mine, purchased in 94-95. I had a rebuilt tuner put in about 10 years ago and it works great. My "still works" syndrome is possibly a little overactive. The CD and cassette player portions of my stereo quit working long ago, but I can hook up my iPod... except now my iPod doesn't work. I've just adjusted to listening to music through computer speakers.

brillig

I am boggled by the stats breakdown on that Jeopardy site. That's a lot of interest in a game show.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, someone's obsessed with everything.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The first album I bought with my own money was Captain and Tennille's Greatest Hits.

Our wings are not tired.

-t, we had that 8-track.

I'm pretty sure the first record I paid my own money for was "Grease". Or Dolly Parton's greatest hits.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

The first album I ever bought myself was a double-cassette: Depeche Mode 101 & 102

ETA: But first single I ever bought was "1999."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Gah - the mosque behind our building is having some kind of party for their school and so there are a TON of screaming kids out on the roof deck. The noise isn't the problem. The problem is that the roof deck is *right* outside my kids' bedroom window, and so I keep thinking I hear D or A crying, when actually it's just the party. SO INCREDIBLY ANNOYING.
