My TV is not even that old. I got it second had from Megan when they upgraded to a flat screen, but I think it was only a couple years old then. The 20" CRT that I bought in the 90s still works and is in the basement. They are both fine...The only plus to a flat screen is that it would allow me to get rid of the massive stand my massive TV is on, but I have many other priorities for my money.
I have been a ditherer all day. Now tonight i'm going to have to get shit done...

As a "reward" for hitting my 20 year anniversary at work, I get to pick an item from our internal "Merchandise Mart". So far nothing has really grabbed me, but there is a 17 inch plasma with a built in DVD player that I'm considering.

Amyth, several years ago I met a British couple on a train in Switzerland and they have become close friends. They too have places in England and France. I may go stay in their French place later this year. We have parallel lives. ;)
