Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm not sure I buy Link Heartthrob as Han Solo, though...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That one is not as perfect as the others. Who would be better, though? Gonzo would work, but I like him as Darth Vader. Hm.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Awesome. The minivan needs a new rear evaporator coil for the A/C to work. Cost? $1K.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

heh ... one of the big issues in DC is the Metro cars with AC that doesn't work. They run them, during rush hour as well as off-hours, during the worst of the summer. The buses aren't any better - a lot of them have AC that doesn't work and windows that are welded shut (new models have windows that don't open at all). My pet peeve is when the AC works, but the bus driver decides to turn it off (saving fuel? earning brownie points from management? sadism?).

So ... this time of year we're getting PSAs about not leaving pets or children in the car. Why is it OK for Metro to leave us sweltering in a closed train/bus? grrr
