Oh, Nilly, he's just gorgeous. And you got video and sound of a burst of "goo"! It utterly boggled me when Matilda started doing it--it had always seemed like such a goofy cartoon thing, a baby saying "goo," and then there was my own child
actually saying it for real.
And you've preserved your little guy saying it! With glee and abandon.
He just looks so giddily happy--delighted to be alive and awake and looking at you and making noises with you. Bless, bless, bless.
Smiley Nilly-Baby! What a beautiful sight. Congratulations!
Nilly-Baby! He's beyond adorable and obviously a very happy baby!
Nilly, he's beeee-you-tee-full!
Oh, Nilly, he's gorgeous!

Such a cutiehead!!! Love that pic with his huuuuuge grin.
I'm posting from a laptop in Bar Harbor
Man, I want to get back to Bar Harbor. I was there with my mom and sis 29 years ago and had probably my favorite summer vacation of my life. I want to have lemonade and popovers on the lawn at Jordan Pond, revisit Quoddy Head State Park (the easternmost point of the US), take the ferry over to Nova Scotia and drive around there for a weekend, take a twilight sailboat cruise, and eat lots and lots of lobster.
That Nilly-baby is both a cutie and a patootie. Matilda's made me watch the video three times now and he's full of wide gummy grinning gogglement.
Nilly, you made an adorable little person!!!! Yay!
I had another radio interview for roller derby this morning. It truly helps to have an on-air personality on the team. She makes sure we get lots of air time to advertise our events.
I also had an interview with a newspaper reporter yesterday. I have another radio interview on Friday morning and am trying to pin down a third for Saturday morning before the bout.
