I haven't been able to find black jeans that I like since everything became stretch. None of them actually look black.

They're not straight leg, because the straight leg jeans I have make me look lumpy and horrible, instead of nicely androgynous, like I was hoping. I think they fall under the definition of boot cut, and the waist isn't particularly low, but they're not mom jeans either.
I have three pairs of exactly the same style, in two sizes, just in case. But they don't come in black.
What's the style/brand of the ones you like, or a link, so we can see?
My perfect jeans are a Banana Republic boot cut I found at the outlet. I need to get more, but it was two years ago, so I don't even know if they still make the exact style.
I don't like black jeans anymore. The undyed ones fade to gray too quickly, and the deep dyed ones show every. single. cat. hair. and always feel funny.
I think these are they? Which makes them relaxed fit, boot cut, high rise jeans. Which they still don't carry in black. But finally it seems they carry it undistressed, which is something.
ita, if you go to the "denim fit finder" and then "shop by wash", those come up in black first--they're on sale--but limited sizes (OK, only 00 long, but that means they exist somewhere, possibly in the store or on ebay)
New neighbor moving in across the hall. Apparently only stops talking in order to draw breath for more talking. No sign of inevitable small yappy dog yet.
Easy passing ~ma for MFNLaw uncle.
