Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Thanks, Tom. That Upton site is a mess. However, I have a new strainer on its way to me.

not your mom's socks.

You look awesome with the super-short cut. Also, I'm glad you got meds yesterday.

Thanks Gud.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I bought my super awesome woodstove-top kettle from Upton. I really need to buy a tea strainer. I think it would make me more likely to make the green tea I really like. I love doing it because I have my grandmother's beautiful tea set. But Japanese green tea has a very thin line between steeped enough and omgbitter! If I had a strainer, I could pull it out at the pivotal moment and thus be happier. Because it's only me drinking the whole pot, anyway, so...

I, as is classic for me, am growing my hair out for summer. I know. But I am.

Because books.

I'm growing my hair out, back to a chin-length bob, and I can tell it's going to be a long, ugly process. I may give up at some point soon.

There's always product and barrettes.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Product is awesome. I love my pixie-ish cut (which is silver-grey), but it looks much better with product than without. Without, I look like I have dog-fur on my head. It's weird.

ION, I ordered a breakfast burrito, which was to be delivered before I got to the office. Is it here yet? No. It's 9:30 and I have NOT HAD MY BURRITO.

And I don't even know who to yell at, because it was a couple of guys doing a fundraising project. Argh!

I suppose I could eat the Thin Mints in my desk, but I really want my burrito.

This jasmine tea is super sensitive to steeping time. Much more diva-like than your average teabag, or even most of the loose tea I've used before. Took some getting used to. This morning's brew is just right.

And they're careful to state the leaves can be reused over a 24 hour period. Which means I'm carrying brewed leaves back and forth from the office. DORKY.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I keep considering getting my hair cut like Michelle Williams in this picture, but I always chicken out. [link] I need to find a stylist that I REALLY trust before I'd try something like that.
