I misread the appt time, so for the second time in 3 days, I missed my hair appt. My lady will not take you even 10 min late. I may just go somewhere else, because honestly, work me in, and also, my hair is too damn long and bugging me.
I did get mac's hair cut just now, so at least that is done.
Oh Aimee, I'm sorry! I agree it's totally not rejection of you.
I'm sorry to hear Grace isn't feeling well, Kat. Isaac is a bit punky too, but in his case I'm pretty sure it's allergies run amok. Poor kid.
As for an activity, I am eyeing the SMC pool. That might happen.
I've been wanting to go, but haven't yet.
It was very cute, cheesy but cute. And the kids ADORED it. Plus there was a crafts fair going on and the kids got to try butter beer (which seems to be root beer with whipped cream and caramel sauce on top) and bring home skelly goblets. I find the idea of a high tea in the Great Hall kind of appealing.
We just finished Downton Abbey last night! Loved it except for the
gay footman being the villain. Ick.
My lady will not take you even 10 min late.
What the huh? That's a bit rigid. My stylist is the opposite--she usually runs 1/2 an hour to an hour late, so you arrive on time at your peril. But on the plus side she'll totally come over and cut our hair at the house!
yeah this lady is super structured, a bit uptight actually. hmmm, I wonder if the place I am thinking of going is even open today. Time to make a call.
OMG, msbelle -- I'm watching House Hunters on HGTV, and they are looking at a house from the 50s that has practically original everything, including wallpaper in the bathroom.
Remember back in days of old, when most people only had a single iPod? How did we survive back then?
I just have one, which doesn't work anymore. It seems to have suffered brain damage from being left in a cold car for too long. sadface
Diapered man cavorts in public while wearing giant latex baby-head
Before you click on that link, ask yourself, "Do I
really
want to click on a link titled 'Diapered man cavorts in public while wearing giant latex baby-head'"?
Considering I'm on a work computer, the answer is no.
I mostly use my iphone these days, but I do have my original ipod, which I think is original generation, or maybe Gen 2. I can't get itunes to update it, and the display doesn't really work, but it lives in my kitchen, on speakers, which is great for when I am cooking. G. gave me one out of the blue a few years back, and it's in my alarm clock. I have one in my car that I bought for that purpose, plus a shuffle, which I had loaned to Suzi for a while, and then lost track of for a while longer, but I use it when I go for walks around the neighborhood.
I'm on my second iphone, and I don't really use the first one, but it lives in a drawer at work for those days I forget my current phone at home and still want to listen to music at work.
