Two more loads of laundry! I am such a victor! That's five today myself, plus the bag I dumped at the groupon place.
Not nearly all of it, but it's a good start. And shoes are sorted for goodwill, and clothes are also sorted for mending/alteration and dry cleaning.
Shame my place is still a mess, though...
in honor of the shoe discussion here, I have pulled 3 pair to go to goodwill. not a huge dent, but a step.
I just discovered all of my summer shoes in a bag in the basement from when they got put away in November. So I am reveling in shoe choice.
Kitchen mopped. Hall vacuumed. Tub scrubbed (mostly - it could be better, but 's'alright for now). Laundry bundled up and ready to go. Small child dressed, washed, combed and about to be shod. Off to the East Bay!
Carpet! We have a carpet again!
Now I need to vacuum it.
Pier 6 playground would be my favorite free play space in Brooklyn if only the parks dept would address the TOTAL LACK OF SHADE there. Still, there's a water park, and Blue Marble ice cream, and grilled cheese from the Milk Truck, so it's hard to complain too too much.
I went there yesterday, and the milk truck WASN'T THERE. Are you saying it's there now? Why must the milk truck taunt me so?
Does the milk truck offer exotic flavored milk at seven dollars a glass, to be drunk with four-dollar artisan cookies?
Not the actual truck, but a Milk Truck branded cart. Were you there in the morning? It didn't show up til noon today.
I bought mango at Trader Joe's. First time I've bought mango in the US.
