Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The DH went last weekend and thought it was hilarious, as did our very prim friend Heather. One bit he described had me laughing so hard tears were rolling down my face. A little person actor goes into a bar with his "girlfriend" and they start arguing. Then another group of little people arrive and a huge fight breaks out. Then a police car pulls up and a group of cops, all little people, come in and break things up. All done with total seriousness. Finally, the EMTs come, all little people, and carry the wounded party out on a little stretcher. The funny part was the reactions of the people at the bar who were drunk enough that they were saying how fast the cops got there, rather than noticing that everyone was a little person.

Hey, it was funny to me. And after watching my brothers and their friends play games like "I'll ride my bike down the driveway while you throw rocks at me" or "Who will eat this bug" for FUN, the pain-based games just seem like a very extreme version of boy play.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Reading about the combination of 3-D technology and toilet-mounted cameras has ensured that nothing could get me into a theater playing that movie.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Wow, first person in Natter this morning. I am sitting in an airport.

So remember that job at my workplace that my husband didn't get a few months ago? They called him back. Probably not for the same job, because it's not posted yet, but in the same area. I think this is good.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

fingers crossed, Dana! It wouldn't by any chance be in New Orleans, would it? Is he a software developer? Because Tom's company is hiring and the local talent pool is not so much with the talent.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is good, Dana! It's nice to be well-thought-of.

My coworker called out sick yesterday, and I thought she had an interview, but she seems to actually be sick. Although maybe both. And she may strategically not be wearing eye makeup...

Always Anti-fascist!

I don't get stuff like Saw,(or Jackass ,either) but I guess after all the time I spend reading about murder and drug dealing and whatnot, I'd feel dramatic acting horrified. But I actually do get freaked by horror movies and have only seen a few, lifetime. IoN, Pitchforks And Torches, the new book of Worst Persons In The World arrived yesterday. I feel weird because I know something KO does not. Namely that the Spanish translation of WPITW is "La Peor Persona Del Mundo" It feels weird knowing anything more than Keith does.

OK people, I am going to places to inquire about part-time jobs today. I am dressed and everything. thing is I kinda think my make-up makes me look like an older woman trying to look young. I haven't taken a pic yet, but I could. anyone willing to give opinions?

ION, mac accepted hugs this morning, so that is good. He also voluntarily obeyed my NO TV decree from last night. man, I was pissed, I am blaming hormones. Good thing I see a Dr. on Friday (yes, I got an appt with another one who didn't even ask about meds) , maybe can get back on bc.

IOON, My parents are gone this weekend, so I think I am taking off work tomorrow and going to go clean up some of their yard and garage as a thank you for all they are doing/have done.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
