Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The doc looked it up at the time.

The doc didn't look at the documentation they sent out with the meds, which warn that it might cause headaches. So I could rest assured that the massive headache I woke up with the next day was completely unrelated. I'm sure she'll be pissed I went to the ER for it, but she can bite any part of my ass she pleases.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am taking Temazepam, which seems to working, sleepwise, with the added bonus that I am not doing stuff I can't remember while under the influence, the way I did with Ambien. That freaked the DH right out and he stopped wanting to talk to me at night--and late night talking in bed is one of the quiet joys of shacking up, IMO. I do have to take it an hour or more before bed, though as it takes a while to kick in.

I am also experimenting with having a glass of wine with dinner every night. I like it and I know it's healthy, but it makes me feel loopy. Like, seriously loopy.

I kinda hate this doc. I kinda wish you had your own personal patient advocate.

Because books.

Aw, Patrick Wilson just sang "God Bless America" during the playoff game, and it wasn't bad. He even sang the first verse!

Lately, MK has been sleeping under the duvet, and at one point, Loki climbed into it. Fun extracting him. Oh, and he's been nesting under the sheet I have over the spare to burrow into the clean sheets, blankets and pillows. Sigh. Ain't that cold, but MK is extra fluffy and inclined to curl up on my lap when I'm drying my hair.

Devi, otoh, is a toughass. She'll curl up with me when she feels like it, but makes do with her fireplace throne.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

To be honest, while I've always thought it was a fun word to say, I never actually knew what they were beyond a vague idea that they were a root vegetable.

Mmmmm, mashed with some butter and lots of pepper.

I know many of the sleepy people have had sleep tests, but have any of you tried sleeping under a CPAP? I sleep even better since getting mine, and it didn't take long to get used to mine.

When I finally get around to scheduling my follow-up sleep study, probably next month, it's so they can do a reading of me using the CPAP for the first time. My first study had me in REM mode for only 40 minutes the entire night, and I had apnea over 100 times, so I definitely need a CPAP.

I would like a sleep study. Just to be sure (and apparently both of my parents have apnea and use cpaps, so...)
