With frequent consumption, substantial tolerance develops to the anxiogenic effect of caffeine, even in genetically susceptible individuals, but no net benefit for alertness is gained, as caffeine abstinence reduces alertness and consumption merely returns it to baseline.
Of course, that's a statistic and stats are useful for groups but not always individuals. So even if its 99% of people that its true for the individual Burrell seems to be in the 1% that it is not.
Too much caffeine makes me tired and sleepy.
I love coffee, but right now I don't have a taste for it.
I hope it comes back.

I drink way too much coffee.
Speaking of which, a chocolate chip bagel, cookies, and coffee is a perfectly acceptable lunch, yes?
The Rent Is Too Damn High is a party I could really get behind! Hah.
I'm drinking coffee right now!
And making a grocery list of Thing To Bombard My Cold With (That Won't Cure It But Will Make Me Feel Better).

Christine O’Donnell Shocks Delaware By Not Knowing First Amendment
Christine O’Donnell (R-DE) believes her participation in an eight-day conservative think tank fellowship is the “number one” thing qualifying her for service in the U.S. Senate. O’Donnell says the “deep analysis of the constitution” taught at Claremont Institute’s competitive Lincoln Fellowship program would help her make sound decisions in the Senate
For some reason, in spite of this she didn't know what was in the First Amendment.
When Coons responded that the First Amendment bars Congress from making laws respecting the establishment of religion, O’Donnell asked: “You’re telling me that’s in the First Amendment?”
Her comments, in a debate aired on radio station WDEL, generated a buzz in the audience.
“You actually audibly heard the crowd gasp,” Widener University political scientist Wesley Leckrone said after the debate, adding that it raised questions about O’Donnell’s grasp of the Constitution.
I'm going to miss Christine O’Donnell after she loses....
