I'm working at the high school today, subbing in one of the music classes (finally! subbing a subject which I know something about!) and it is Senior Freak Week, meaning that every day has a theme and the seniors dress up and it was basically the one week throughout all of high school I enjoyed being here.

Today is Character Day, and I saw my friend's little brother walk by all dressed up as Link from The Legend of Zelda, and now I am fairly sure he is legit playing an ocarina. He went all out.

I can't remember -- is the ocarina supposed to summon something, or take Link to a hidden level? I remember the ocarina, and I remember playing it, but not why, or what happens.

ION home sick with a cold. My BOSS'S cold. (Okay, I can't know that for sure, but he had one at the end of last week, and went home early yesterday b/c he didn't feel well. So when I called in, I cast some good-natured blame his way.)

I'm not sure off the top of my head which months are Pisces, but do any of them have eight letters?

The ocarina was used for a wide variety of things: changing night to day, warping to places, calling a friend... things like that.
