I just culled a bunch of shows that I'm just not that into off the DVR over the weekend. I'm afraid the Event was one of them.

Right now I'm sort of heartbroken that ABC Family stopped airing Friday Night Lights. I was just getting into it!!
I didn't end up adding any new shows this year, really. Nothing I watch got cancelled last year so I still have quite a full TV schedule.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I lost interest in The Event pretty quick. Lost ruined shows like that for me; I feel like I'm wasting my time with a puzzle that will never be satisfactorily solved.
I'm enjoying The Defenders and Chase; I've been recording Detroit 1-8-7 but have little interest in actually watching it. I think Chase will fall away eventually; In Plain Sight does this storyline better, and the lead on Chase is so intent and fraught and humorless, she makes me tired.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
The Boy is currently ordering a Superman t-shirt online for Halloween. I convinced him to wear his suit with the t-shirt under it, and when people ask him who he is, to rip open the button down shirt.
That's more or less my costume idea! Except Wonder Woman. And probably no blouse. Apparently I have to buy this crappy $50 costume, which I am annoyed about, but can't find a better option to get the accessories.
Also annoying: Having a bus blow by me when I am literally feet from the bus stop, and not having the next one come for at least a half hour. I really wish I had gotten up my gumption to ask some semi-strangers for a ride. Oh well.
