The thing I do not understand is why people are so incompetent!
Two answers: 1) stupidity; 2) poor training.
That's my guess anyway.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Add in laziness and/or lack of caring.
The other thing is that until I interact with other people, I think I am totally incompetent. Then I see what they are doing!
I've been remarkably lucky with bosses, I think. At least the ones I report to directly.
Just don't start lying to people (above or below you in the chain) to (try to) make yourself look better.
I really do not like lying so that shouldn't be a problem.
I have tried Botox, tommy. It worked, in that it took away many of the facial expressions I used to teach krav, but I don't know that it clearly removed pain.
I think tessera from way back when had it done and it worked for her. Not suire if she's still on it.

Well, that explains why politics in the US sucks....
My mother had botox for nerve damage in her shoulder that she sustained during a car accident, but ultimately the only thing that entirely removed the pain was surgery. And a rotator cuff injury is about 1000x simpler to diagnose & treat than migraine.

Heh, I never thought of that line as a slacker manifesto.
