Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

I spent a few hours today researching so I could figure out my ballot. I didn't understand why we're being asked to vote for U.S. Senator twice, and now I do, even if I think it's kind of stupid.

Ditto here. I will admit that I still don't understand how two of the ballot initiatives I'll be voting on are supposed to work, but I have a moderate amount of faith in the benevolence of the officials recommending them.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm revising a paper and writing an essay on how I'm revising it.

writing an essay on how I'm revising it.

It's like the "making of the movie" documentary!

I know I should research more, but I was getting dispirited by the available choices, so eventually I made notes on my sample ballot of who I really, really didn't want to vote for, and am calling it good enough. I don't know why I feel vaguely guilty when I probably spent more time thinking about it than most people do.

Have a weight bag in your garage yet?

I have paid bills and run through my ballot. Will vote on my way to the pool.

I will pay you, Steph, the equivalent of a weeks salary to revise this paper according to Joseph M. Williams' and Strunk & White's suggestions and then tell me what you did.

I hate this paper.

not yet sara. and we have reached the point of the night where mac has to not only be in the same room as me, but has to be no more than 2-3 feet from me. You can see the annoyance on my face from there, can't you?
