Oh, and I almost forgot, the you teen dressed in classic 80s-Madonna, complete with fingerless lace gloves, the off-shoulder t and slouchy leather belt. I asked "Madonna?" She looked taken aback and told me it was just her regular clothes. I feigned a faint and said "Oh not again!" and she started giggling.
I saw a young woman on the street today who I couldn't decide if she was in 80s costume or not!
Wow, that's a hell of a goal-line stand the Saints just put on.
I was gratified that a lot of people actually recognized Sara was Hello Kitty.
We got fewer trick-or-treaters than we usually get here. We have lots of leftover candy.
I panicked and went out to buy some candy, but now it's full dark, 6:30, and haven't had a single person. I do not need to eat a whole bag of candy myself!! I suppose if I really wanted people, I would've needed to decorate the archway that leads back to our houses, not just put a pumpkin on my porch that no one can see from the street.
To assuage my no-candy sadness, I am making peanut butter cupcakes with peanut butter cream cheese frosting.
Yes, it probably would have been easier to go buy candy.
Funny end to the half there in the Saints game.
