It seems like Community thinks Chevy Chase is as big a dick as I do. I like that in a show. Jesse, the "yay" in that kills me every time. Also, Matthew Perry and Allison Janney. I hate the wannabe lovable weirdo son, though, anyone who makes me wish he was as cool as Urkel needs to die or something.
The son is weirdly growing on me, to my surprise.
He kind of makes me think of when Joss talked about seeing girls to play Willow and they were all crazy hair and pocket protectors because that's TV nerdy. And could the blonde be more generic?
So a friend who works for a recruiting company just sent a message saying that the are recruiting for a position. She said "It is a very exciting time with this particular technology company…they have a “Black Swan” moment in process, which they are trying to capitalize on and ramp up to seize"
I cannot figure out what "Black Swan" means in that context! Like, somehow the tech company equivalent of making a super cheesy movie an Oscar contender? I've asked her to explain but wanted to put it to you guys.
Kathy, that's amazing!

OMG, this is making me laugh so hard, I can't even explain it.
Oh, msbelle, I feel your state-hate pain. I'm having it right now(about my state,) and it's NFG. Amazing that the answers to America's problems have been up some slut's uterus the whole time. They have made me a letter to the editor writer...I thought I had fifty years before I became that grouchy and irrelevant. sigh.
The thing I always remember about Chevy Chase is that a very long time ago, he and Dan Ackroyd were promoting a movie they made together on some talk show (I want to say Leterman, but it might have been something else), and in the middle of the interview, the host asked how it was working together, and Dan Ackroyd suddenly got completely serious and said "I'll never make another movie with him again." Followed by dead silence, because you could tell he was serious.
