I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's kind of a lot, I don't know if I can sum up accurately.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Well, it seems like they escaped/were rescued, and that the baby survived the transformation.

Is there anything else I need to know?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OK, craving for duck cured for the foreseeable future by the one place in town that serves it. (shudder)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ech. Duck is good, but bad duck is very bad.

Yay for being cued up in time for the firefly watch-n-post early enough to natter.

I think that's all that's important for ongoing plot purposes. It'd be worthwhile to catch a repeat if you get a chance, the fight at the arena was pretty good. I'm not sure if any vamps besides Mitchell survived. Dad and son travelled on together towards where the kid had been taken from, and dad had a moment with Mitchell where he reinforced the prophecy a bit. That's all I remember.

Oh, that's a shame, Matt. Everyone should have access to yummy duck goodness. That want it, of course, I don't want to force duck on anyone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mmm, just made some of the TJs sipping chocolate.

Hey, if anyone sees that for sale, not peppermint, can you buy it for me? I'll pay. My store said it was seasonal, but who knows. I bet I can get my grandmother to drink it as a replacement for the Williams-Sonoma stuff that is also no longer for sale.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That garden is beautiful.

I spent most of the day (well, once I got up) out in my own, less stained-glassy, garden. It was a lovely day for it, and my landlady even gave me free mulch to put around all my plants.

After a few days of sitting in conference seminars it felt good to spend time moving about outside.
