My neighbors' rock band has been practicing for several hours now. I always thought there was a generally understood rule that drums go in the basement where they won't bother the neighbors as much. I can hear every note that every instrument is playing, with just enough distortion from going through the walls to make it crazy-making to listen to.

I missed the most Ginormous moon evah!
But I did finally buy some shoes that I can wear (comfortably) with my brace: the right shoe (brace) is 1.5 sizes bigger than the left shoe (no brace) and it's a 4E. (I have extra wide feet anyway but 4E is wider.)
We saw the moon! I accidentally let it slip that Prof Lupin would not have liked it. Franny asked why. I had to demure, oops.
We had brunch at Luna Park and the restaurant was nearly empty, so the kids were free to goof around a bit after we ate. Much fun.
Isn't tonight supposed to be the big moon? It was lovely last night, I have to say.
I don't know Jesse. I will just have to look at it again. Luckily I never tire of watching the full moon.
We like the moon
coz it is close to us
we like the moooon!
but not as much as a spoon
'cause that's more use for eating soup
and a fork isn't very useful for that
unless it has got many vegetables
and then you might be better off with a chop-stick
unlike the moon
Isn't tonight supposed to be the big moon?
That's what I thought, too. Maybe I misunderstood the "Saturday night" thing, where after midnight on Friday it has become Saturday. Hrm.
It'll probably still be big tonight, right?
I'm not going to see the moon: it's all rainy and overcast here.
I tried the mug Nutella cake. Except where I don't have any Nutella and I didn't use a mug and I haven't tasted it yet, because it's hot.
STILL. Chocolate cake in a bowl. Numsters. Tummy, be good for the yummy.
Yeah, it's tonight that's the full perigee moon.
I know what you mean, Amy. The SO's grandmother is in the hospital, and his brother went to see her and she didn't know him. Sad.
I am right this minute missing a workshop on tea at my local organic store that I signed up for, put down an admittedly small deposit on, and arranged my day around. I had, like, an hour and a half before I had to leave. So I went into the media closet and futzed around with installing the wall panel for our new surround system. I looked up and realized the tea thing was starting, a half an hour away. Oops. Sound geek fail. Oh well, the completed surround sound system will give me more happiness over the long run than the tea thingy. So I guess now I just have to finish, in order to make the lapse worthwhile.
